Tazewell Circuit, like all streets in Nicholls, follows the suburb’s tradition of naming roads after sportspeople and winds through an area where the most prestigious homes sit against Harcourt Hill to the west. The street frames views of the shallow Gungahlin Pond and the Lakes Golf Course, whose lakeside greens define the eastern side of the neighbourhood.

Only 2 km north lies the Gungahlin Town Centre and the Barton Highway offers a direct link to Canberra’s centre, about 13 km away, while Gold Creek Village on the southern edge provides shops, the National Dinosaur Museum, Cockington Green and a championship golf club. Nearby families enjoy Gold Creek Primary, Holy Spirit Primary and the shared campus on Kelleway Avenue, plus the Perce Douglas playing fields and the Nicholls neighbourhood oval.
