Namadgi Circuit sits within the Palmerston suburb, where streets bear the names of Australian mountains and the main thoroughfare, Kosciuszko Avenue, frames the neighbourhood. The streetscape is dotted with fruit trees such as plums and apples, and the housing stock is a blend of detached single‑family homes and duplexes, all bordered by the major arteries of Gungahlin Drive and Gundaroo Drive.

ACTION bus routes 21, 22, 23 and 24 run along Kosciuszko Avenue, linking the area with Gungahlin Town Centre, Franklin and Nicholls, while a network of cyclepaths and underpasses provides safe pedestrian and cyclist connections. At the suburb’s centre residents enjoy small medical, shopping and community centres, a large neighbourhood oval, and the Palmerston District Primary School, which opened in 1995.
