Alfords Point sits 28 km south of Sydney’s CBD in the Sutherland Shire, perched on the southern bank of the Georges River and almost entirely edged by the Georges River National Park. The suburb’s leafy streets, named after native flora, frame large‑acre bushland blocks that were subdivided for housing in the late 1970s‑80s, giving residents a low‑density, nature‑focused lifestyle.
