Bellambi is a coastal suburb of Wollongong situated just north of Corrimal and east of Russell Vale. At the 2021 Census it was home to 4,039 residents, including a vibrant community with 8.1 % identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The suburb’s lifestyle centres on Bellambi Beach and the Wollongong‑to‑Thirroul bike track, while Bellambi Lagoon Reserve and the Bushcare‑managed Point provide forested swamps, rare plants and more than 50 bird species, including a pair of white‑breasted sea eagles, for nature‑loving residents.
