Bonnyrigg sits 36 km west of Sydney’s CBD in the City of Fairfield, forming part of Greater Western Sydney. With 9,785 residents recorded in the 2021 census, the suburb is richly multicultural, over a quarter speak Vietnamese at home and a similar share identify with Vietnamese ancestry. A major regeneration called Newleaf Bonnyrigg will replace more than 800 dwellings with 2,330 new homes, adding roughly 3,000 residents over a 12‑year period and diversifying the housing mix.
