Connells Point is a small suburb 20 km south of the Sydney CBD, within the Georges River Council in the St George area. At the 2021 census it had 2,884 residents, the majority born in Australia with a notable Chinese‑born community; English, Mandarin, Greek and Cantonese are commonly spoken. The neighbourhood centres around Connells Bay and offers leafy open spaces such as Donnelly Park, Poulton Park and Connells Point Reserve, while Connells Point Public School (opened 1934) provides primary education.
