Located 39 km south‑west of Sydney’s CBD in the Liverpool LGA, Elizabeth Hills was gazetted in 2009 after separating from Cecil Hills. Once farmland, it is now a residential estate with most housing built from 2014 onward. The 2021 Census recorded 3,208 residents, 56 % born in Australia and a notable overseas community – 17 % from Iraq and strong Assyrian and Arabic language groups. Catholicism is the leading religion.
