Glenfield lies 36 km south‑west of Sydney’s CBD within the City of Campbelltown, part of the Macarthur region. The 2021 census recorded 10,536 residents, with a high proportion of couples with children (57.1 %) and a multicultural community – just under half were Australian‑born. Families have access to several schools, including Glenfield Public, Glenwood Public and the selective Hurlstone Agricultural High School, while parks such as Seddon, Blinman and Kennett offer cricket, rugby, soccer and baseball facilities.
