Heatherbrae is a small suburb within the Port Stephens council in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, situated just east of the Hunter River and south of Raymond Terrace. The Pacific Highway runs through the centre, providing road links to the region. According to the 2016 census the community numbered 512 residents, with a median age of 54, and most live in a housing subdivision west of the highway, while a portion reside in an industrial area to the east and in scattered rural‑semi‑rural parcels.
