Moree is a vibrant town of 7,070 residents (2021 Census) on the Mehi River in northern New Wales. Nearly a quarter identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, enriching the cultural scene with the artesian hot‑spring baths, the BAMM Bank Art Museum’s Aboriginal collection, and strong rugby‑league traditions.
