Overview

Quirindi is a small town of 2,602 residents (2021 census) set on the North West Slopes of New South Wales. Its agricultural roots are complemented by extensive recreational facilities, including multiple sporting ovals, cricket, rugby league (Grasshoppers), rugby union, soccer, basketball, netball, an 18‑hole golf course, two tennis clubs, bowling greens, a gun club and a swimming complex. The town hosts popular events such as the Rural Heritage Festival in May, the Quirindi Show in September and the Boxing Day Races, which draw thousands each year.
