Alberton is a small, rural locality in the Gold Coast city with 547 residents recorded in the 2021 census. Bounded to the north by the Logan River and to the west by the Albert River, the area is dominated by sugar‑cane fields and prawn farms, giving it a distinctly agricultural lifestyle.
