Overview

Bahrs Scrub, an urban locality in Logan City, has transformed from a sparsely populated scrubland of hill‑top acreage properties into a fast‑growing residential hub. The 2021 census recorded 4,508 residents and a median age of 29, giving the suburb a youthful vibe. Large‑scale projects such as the Brookhaven development by Frasers Property, together with smaller eastern subdivisions, are creating a blend of low‑density homes and higher‑density housing as the council aims for a 10,000‑person community that balances housing, retail and green space.
