Overview

Steiglitz is a quiet coastal locality on the Gold Coast, bounded by Moreton Bay to the east and the neighbouring suburbs of Jacobs Well, Woongoolba and Norwell. At the 2021 census it recorded 682 residents, many of whom enjoy the blend of waterfront living at Cabbage Tree Point and the surrounding sugar‑cane countryside. The town, often called Cabbage Tree Point after the native palms, offers a range of property types from modest homes near the marina to larger rural blocks.
