Taranganba is a hillside suburb on the Capricorn Coast, perched above Cooee Bay and just 3 km south of Yeppoon and 16 km north of Emu Park. The 2021 census recorded 2,275 residents living in a largely residential neighbourhood where most homes were built from the 1970s onward, with newer land developments responding to demand and the mining boom.
