Thagoona is a mixed‑use locality in the City of Ipswich, bounded to the south‑east by the Bremer River. At the 2021 Census the suburb recorded 1,077 residents. The area combines rural‑residential homes, concentrated just north of the Rosewood railway line, with grazing on native vegetation, giving a semi‑country feel while remaining close to urban centres. A network of parks, including Armstrong Park, Caledonian Park and Pindari Drive Reserve, provides ample green space for outdoor recreation.
