Toogoom is a coastal town and rural locality in Queensland’s Fraser Coast Region, bounded by Hervey Bay, Beelbi Creek and O’Regan Creek. The 2021 census recorded 2,596 residents. The town centre sits where Beelbi Creek enters the bay, with homes stretching along the creek and the sandy shoreline, giving immediate access to fishing, watersports, crabbing and birdwatching, plus the Toogoom Mountain Bike Trails and Skills Park.

There are no schools in Toogoom; the nearest primary schools are Torbanlea State School in Torbanlea to the south‑west and Yarrilee State School in Urraween to the east, with secondary students attending Hervey Bay State High School in Pialba. A public boat ramp at the end of Toogoom Road provides launch access to Beelbi Creek, and local roads link the community to the wider Hervey Bay area for shopping and services.
