Windaroo is a quiet residential suburb on the southern fringe of Logan, lying just 4 km south of Beenleigh and 36 km south‑east of Brisbane’s CBD. According to the 2021 Census the community numbers 2,771 residents and is bounded by Windaroo Creek, the Albert River, Bannockburn Road and Beaudesert–Beenleigh Road. Originally a dairy‑run area, the suburb was subdivided in the early 1980s as the Windaroo Acres estate, giving today a mix of low‑density homes and larger rural‑style properties that appeal to families and retirees alike.
