Bordered by Moreton Bay and Bramble Bay, it enjoys three headlands, Woody Point, Picnic Point and Scotts Point, plus a 240‑metre jetty, foreshore parks (Bicentennial and Apex) and the nearby HMQS Gayundah wreck, making it popular for fishing, sailing, canoeing and family picnics.
