Woolmar is a rural locality in the Somerset Region of Queensland, lying immediately west of the town of Kilcoy. The 2021 Census recorded 565 residents, reflecting steady growth from 421 in 2016. The D’Aguilar Highway runs through the centre of Woolmar, providing direct road links to surrounding centres, while Kilcoy Creek forms part of its eastern boundary and the western side rises to over 400 metres above sea level.

Although Woolmar has no schools of its own, families access primary and secondary education at Kilcoy State School and Kilcoy State High School in neighbouring Kilcoy.
