Overview

Yandina Creek is a rural locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, set in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. The 2021 census recorded 872 residents, while the 2016 census recorded 760 people. Its name derives from the Indigenous words yan (“to go”) and dinna (“feet”), and the Yandina‑Coolum Road runs along the western boundary before crossing the area eastward, providing the main transport link.
