Yarraman is a rural town in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, set in a fertile valley 181 km northwest of Brisbane at the junction of the New England and D’Aguilar highways. At the 2021 census the locality recorded 1,127 residents. The community benefits from a strong agricultural heritage, producing timber, grain, beef and dairy, that now backs a relaxed lifestyle surrounded by the Bunya Mountains and the Yarraman Important Bird Area, home to the vulnerable black‑breasted button‑quail.

Local amenities include the refurbished Yarraman Library and Post Office with wireless internet, the Memorial Pool on the New England Highway, three churches and Wild Horse FM 99.7 community radio housed in the historic Heritage House. Education is provided by Yarraman State School (Prep‑Year 9), while secondary years 10‑12 are available in nearby Nanango. The town is a gateway to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, the longest rail trail in Australia, and is easily accessed via the two major highways that run through it.
