Ascot Park railway station is just about 0.1 km away, providing access to the Seaford line. Woodlands Park station is roughly 1 km distant, and the M44 bus route runs through the suburb, linking the area to the city centre and Westfield Marion.

Ascot Park lies in south‑western Adelaide, bounded by Marion Road to the west, Wood Street to the north, Robert and West Streets to the east, and Daws Road/Seaford railway line to the south. It is adjacent to Park Holme, Edwardstown, South Plympton and Mitchell Park.

Marion Road, a main arterial thoroughfare, is about 1.2 km from the property, providing easy access to the wider Adelaide road network.
