Overview

Black Point sits on the east coast of Yorke Peninsula, roughly 72 km northwest of Adelaide. The locality is framed to the west by the St Vincent Highway, giving residents straightforward road access to the state capital, while its shoreline fronts Gulf St Vincent and the north‑eastern‑facing Port Alfred bay. Set against the headland known as Black Point (or the Narungga name Gudliwardi), the area enjoys a coastal setting within the Yorke Peninsula Council, the state district of Narungga and the federal division of Grey.
