Overview

Hectorville is a small suburb of Adelaide, situated within the City of Campbelltown and one of eight suburbs that make up the council. The neighbourhood is anchored by two primary schools – the public East Torrens Primary and the Catholic St Joseph’s School – both located within walking distance of most residents. Laid out in 1855 and home to Adelaide’s first house in the area built in 1849, the suburb retains a blend of historic homes alongside more recent dwellings.
