Overview

Linden Park is a leafy suburb of Adelaide set within the City of Burnside, taking its name from the graceful linden tree. The neighbourhood was laid out in 1882 when a large allotment was subdivided for housing, and many of its avenues honour British naval history, Hood, Keyes, Sturdee, Jellicoe, Beatty, Wemyss and Hay all recall First Sea Lords and admirals. This heritage gives the area a distinctive character, with mature streets that blend historic homes with later developments.
