Lyndoch sits on the Barossa Valley Highway, 58 km northeast of Adelaide at an elevation of 175 m, making it one of South Australia’s oldest towns. Today it functions as a service centre for the surrounding grape and wine industry while also serving as a dormitory town, with many residents commuting daily to Adelaide for work.
