Overview

Willalo is a rural locality in South Australia’s Mid North, governed by the Regional Council of Goyder. The boundaries were formalised in August 2000 for a long‑established name that was once known as North Booboorowie. Community life historically revolved around the Willalo Hall, built in 1912 and demolished in 2015, where a school operated from 1912 until 1971, a Methodist church was erected in 1928, and a tennis club provided recreation.
