Bonnet Hill is a residential locality within Kingborough, just 2 km east of Kingston in the Hobart region of Tasmania. Per the 2016 Census the suburb had 505 residents, many of whom enjoy the hill’s popular cycling routes and a network of small paths that lead to Kingston Beach. The Alum Cliffs rise up to 30 m above sea level, offering sweeping vistas of the Derwent Estuary, Storm Bay, South Arm and Bruny Island, while the historic Taroona Shot Tower sits nearby as a local landmark.
