Breadalbane is a small rural locality in Tasmania’s Northern Midlands, situated about 11 kilometres north‑east of Longford. With a 2016 census population of 108, the community retains a historic charm – the Woolpack Inn, the sole survivor of three colonial inns, remains a visible link to the area’s 19th‑century past when the district was known for sheep stealing and carried names such as Cocked Hat and The Springs.
