Bridgenorth is a small rural community in the Western Tamar Valley of Tasmania, administered largely by the West Tamar Council with a tiny portion (about 4.5 %) in the Meander Valley Council area. Situated roughly 22 kilometres north‑west of Launceston, it had a population of 373 according to the 2016 Census.
