Set on Anderson Bay on Tasmania’s north‑east coast, Bridport offers a relaxed seaside lifestyle with two acclaimed links courses, Barnbougle Dunes (opened 2004) and Lost Farm (2010), the former soon ranked in the top 50 worldwide. The town’s sandy beaches support swimming, sailing and other water sports. At the 2016 Census Bridport had 1,715 residents, rising to an estimated 5,000 in summer.
