Crabtree is a rural‑residential locality in the Huon Valley of Tasmania, lying roughly 15 km north of the regional centre of Huonville. At the 2016 census the suburb was home to 292 residents, reflecting its low‑density character. The area is framed by the Mountain River along its south‑eastern edge and the meandering Crabtree Rivulet, which courses from the north‑west through the community before joining the river.
