Cradoc is a rural residential locality in the Huon Valley of south‑east Tasmania, situated about 11 km south‑west of Huonville. At the 2016 Census it had 445 residents, and its setting along the Huon River’s western edge provides a tranquil, country lifestyle surrounded by hills, bays and the historic fruit‑growing landscape that has defined the area since the late‑19th century.

The suburb is well linked by the B68 Channel Highway, which traverses Cradoc from north‑west to south‑east, and by Route C639 (Cygnet Coast Road) that branches west and south from the highway centre. These roads give quick access to nearby natural features such as Cradoc Hill, California Bay and Fleurty Creek, as well as local creative hubs like The Pickers Hut residency and the former Balfes Hill weather station, supporting a blend of residential living and outdoor recreation.
