Doctors Rocks is a quiet rural locality in the Waratah–Wynyard council area of north‑west Tasmania, situated about 8 km east of the coastal town of Wynyard. The suburb is defined by a striking basalt outcrop on the beachfront, with an escarpment rising behind it and the waters of Bass Strait forming its north‑eastern edge. At the 2016 Census the state suburb recorded just 85 residents, giving the area a close‑knit, low‑density residential feel.
