Geilston Bay is a quiet, largely residential suburb on Hobart’s Eastern Shore, nestled between Risdon Vale, Shag Bay and Lindisfarne. Road links to the city run along the East Derwent Highway, providing the same easy access as neighbouring northern suburbs. The western fringe backs onto Natone Hill and a series of bushland reserves, including Thoona, Lindhill and the larger Pilchers Hill, offering walking tracks and scenic views of the bay and, on many properties, distant sights of kunanyi / Mount Wellington.
