Hellyer is a tranquil rural locality in the Circular Head council area of north‑west Tasmania, positioned about 35 km east of Smithton. With a modest community of 173 residents recorded in the 2016 Census, the area enjoys easy access to natural attractions such as the Bass Strait shoreline to the north, the Detention River to the east, and nearby Myoora Park.
