Leith is a semi‑rural locality split between the Devonport and Central Coast councils, situated about 10 km east of Ulverstone on Tasmania’s north‑west coast. The 2021 Census recorded 504 residents living alongside the Bass Strait shoreline to the north and the tranquil Forth River estuary to the west, offering easy access to beaches, river‑front walks and scenic lookouts such as Braddons Lookout.
