North Motton is a rural town in Tasmania’s North West, situated within the Central Coast local government area. It lies about 28 kilometres west of Devonport and recorded a population of 425 at the 2021 census. The River Leven defines much of its south‑western and northern boundaries, winding through the landscape and giving the community a strong connection to the waterway.
