Overview

Quoiba is a rural‑residential locality within the Devonport LGA, located just 5 km south of the Devonport centre. The 2021 Census recorded 427 residents, many of whom live alongside an active industrial zone that includes cardboard manufacturers, a cannery, vegetable‑packaging works and livestock sale yards. Set on the south‑western side of the Mersey River, the suburb enjoys natural features such as Horsehead Creek and the Kelcey Tier Green Belt lookout, while community venues include the Mersey Vale Memorial Park (established 1968) and Mersey Gardens Chapel.
