Red Hills is a quiet locality in the Meander Valley council, about 7 km west of Deloraine in Tasmania’s Launceston region. The Meander River forms part of its south‑eastern boundary and Western Creek makes up the rest, providing river‑side scenery. The suburb takes its name from the Red Hill that rises within it, a modest landmark for walks. The 2016 census recorded 120 residents, reflecting a low‑density community.
