Shorewell Park is a residential suburb of Burnie, situated about 4 kilometres south‑west of the town centre. Established in the 1970s as a broad‑acre social‑housing estate, the area expanded throughout the 1980s and, in 2012, the Tasmanian Government released a 20‑year development plan; the 2016 census recorded 2,008 residents.
