Overview

Surveyors Bay is a quiet rural locality in the Huon Valley of south‑east Tasmania, situated about 43 km south of Huonville. The settlement lies on the Huon River estuary, giving the north‑east to south‑east edges a scenic water frontage. It is surrounded by coastal features such as Little Roaring Bay Beach, Roaring Bay Beach and Flathead Bay, and is within a few kilometres of the hills of Jebel Torbul and Mount Esperance.
