Whitemark is the principal settlement on Flinders Island and a rural‑residential locality in Tasmania’s North‑east region. At the 2021 Census it was home to 308 residents, enjoying a compact hub of everyday services – a supermarket, bakery, petrol station, mechanic, post office, Anglican church and library – plus the Flinders Island Interstate Hotel and a handful of local‑produce businesses that give the town a close‑knit, island‑community feel.
