Allendale is a tiny town in the Shire of Hepburn, Victoria, with just 185 residents recorded in the 2021 census. Originally a mining settlement around the Berry Leads, the town once swelled to about 1,500 people and supported ten hotels, a bakery, shops and a railway station.
