The original township is centred in a small triangle formed by Twyford Road, Clyde‑Five Ways Road and Ballarto Road and offers a primary school, a CFA fire station, a general store and a community hall. Residents enjoy nearby recreation at Lineham Oval, home to the West Gippsland Cricket Association club, and the expansive Casey Fields sporting complex just west of the suburb. Shopping needs are met at the main centre on Berwick‑Cranbourne Road and Morison Road, where a Coles supermarket anchors a range of specialty stores.
