Nicholson is a small town in East Gippsland, Victoria, positioned 295 km east of Melbourne between the larger centres of Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance. At the 2021 Census the community numbered 1,322 residents. The town sits on the Princes Highway and alongside the Nicholson River, giving direct road links and scenic riverfront views.
