Port Welshpool sits on the tranquil shores of Corner Inlet in South Gippsland, about 191 km south‑east of Melbourne. The town’s waterfront is anchored by the iconic jetty – the third‑longest wooden jetty in Australia – which was rebuilt before World War II, survived a 2003 fire, and was fully refurbished in 2019–2020.
