Spotswood is an inner‑west Melbourne suburb situated just 7 km south‑west of the Central Business District, within the City of Hobsons Bay. Bounded by the Newport–Sunshine freight line, the West Gate Freeway, the Yarra River and Burleigh Street, it recorded a population of 2,820 at the 2021 census.
