Brigadoon is a semi‑rural suburb on Perth’s eastern fringe, set on the edge of the Darling Scarp at the entrance to the Avon Valley. The Avon River flows through the area, joining the Swan River to the north‑west, and is framed by Jumbuck Hill Park and Walyunga National Park. Residents can watch the annual Avon Descent whitewater race from Bells Rapids, and a nearby pedestrian bridge provides river‑side access.

The Lady of the Lake statue on Campersic Road, a longtime local gauge for rainfall, is being restored for return in early 2026.
